Hi AllNew to the site just checking to see if any of you are aware of this problem ANTARA SE 2.0 Diesel?

1.When driving the car the traction control light and the Hill decent light show on the dashboard in orange.
The car then slows down, speeds up, as though you are blipping the accelerator.
Had engine management read, code stated electronics in accelerator pedal. Changed pedal still got the problem?? Naffed off
Anyone else had the problem?
Cheers

Welcome to the forum.

Hmm could be one of many sensors. All the traction control abs etc are all linked together.

What did you use to read the codes?

Antara 2008 2.0 CDTI

I had similar problem hill descent, ESP (both lights) and AWD lights coming on.
Sometimes the car would go into limp mode , but most of the times I could drive it .

Problem was resolved when an ABS sensor was replaced.

Shortly after the replacement of the ABS sensor, Im not sure which but either the ESP or Hill descent lamps came back on.
Brought it back to the garage and now the tester was showing a faulty accelerator pedal.

Before purchasing a new accelerator pedal I removed it, dis-engaged the potientiometer and moved the slider up and down a few times.
The slider is allowed to move along a longer range with the pedal dis-engaged.

I think that this movement might have cleared any dust or residue along the potientiometer.

Its 2 weeks since I did that and so far everything going fine.

This might be of help to someone , to try this before buying a new accelerator pedal.

Regards
