Advice on a MOT Failure

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I am hoping for a little advise please. Back end on June I put my Antara 2013 reg in for its yearly MOT and Service. It has failed because the rear passenger door central locking does not work. I thought fair enough the garage can order a part and fix it! They advised me that they have had to order a part from Germany and after 1 week i called for a update, no part received, and now on back order! I have now, after 2 weeks asked them to tell me what the part is and the part number, but they don't know what it is, so how can they order something if they don't know what it is! Basically all doors open on the central locking apart from the rear passenger door! So my question to all of you would be, any ideas on what the part would be called and where I could purchase the part from?

Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated

Jason

Rear door latch inc motor is 95276570. It has superseded several times over the years, stock issues are common at the moment across all makes given the shipping issues with covid. As the suppling Vauxhall hub to create a back order case so it gets chased. They should then obtain a estimated delivery date.

Good advice. Our Daimler-Benz dealer doesn't even have an oil filter in stock - it is on order from Germany. The virus has not gone away, in spite of crowds on the beaches and outside football grounds, etc etc.
