Hey all, picked up my antara today, as far as I can see it's fitted with parking sensors front and rear but there is no activation button on the dash, I read earlier that someone has added a new stall with cruise control and wondered if there was a button available to activated parking assist sensors at all and where from please??

There should be one. The owner's manual (page 141) refers to it.

Mine were retro fitted, rear parking sensor comes on when in reverse (cant cancel it) the front ones have a switch on the drivers side of the front "tunnel" by my left leg which can be switched on and off, bit odd but works well.

I fitted a set of aftermarket reverse sensors to mines with an indicator that fits onto the dash with a green to red colour graph display, all well and good. The only thing that's wrong with it is the screeching noise it makes when I first go into reverse. So I've worked out a little routine where I go into reverse for a second or two to let the first loud screech out then into neutral and back into reverse when the second screech isn't nearly as loud then it sinks into silence until you come too close to anything when it screeches back into life. Chariot master or what, women canny work out these things.

Sounds like you might have to go on a hunt if you have retrofitted ones.

Victor, is the loud screech some sort of interference type noise?

Hi people I have just brought my first antara and have just located my front sensor button under my foot well thanks to this forum 👍🏻
The trouble is when I'm driving down the road the sensors are activating ( very annoying ) does anyone have this or know if I can rectify the problem.
