As the forums grows and we get a wide range of people join the club we thought it would be useful to post up some guidelines.<div style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">

<div style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">The guidelines cover general forum behaviour - language, flaming / trolling and simple things like how to search for a topic.
<div style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">

<div style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">We've also posted up some guidelines about how the forum is moderated and what you can expect from the admin / moderating team.
<div style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">

<div style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">Overall the guidelines are here to make sure you all get the most out of the club and features we offer.

General Behaviour:1) Languageshould be clean. Please keep the language in your posts to a family friendly level. Remember people can view the forum with their kids and families. If you do feel the need to include certain words or phrases please censor your wording by using ** (for example ****) or, preferably, re-word your post.

2) Opinionsare a valued part of a community but remember everybody has them and they can differ from yours. Respect others opinions andbe advised that Flaming will not be tolerated.

3) Trollingwill not be tolerated. Troll posts will be removed and the poster contacted. This may result in a warning, account suspension , and in certain cases a ban.

Posting a new topic or reply:
We all enjoy a new thread, but before starting one ask yourself these 2 important questions….

1) Have I used the ‘Search'function to see if a thread already exists?
This is important as multiple threads about the same topic will clog up the tubes and make the forum untidy.

The Search function can be found in the forum bar at the top of each forum and thread.

2) Am I Posting In The Right Section?
Asking for advice on winter tyres in the Newbies section will probably mean you won't get many replies. And replies are important. Also, wrong section posting means the Moderators have to start moving stuff, and they like a nice easy life.

When replying to a thread remember to keep it on topic. All off-topic chat and generalnonsenseis welcomed in the Off-Topicforum.

Topics posted in the wrong section will be locked. A Moderator will advise and link to the correct section prior to locking.

Moderators:
I would ask the all members - new and old - show somecourtesyto the team. It's not always an easy job!

No doubt as the forum continues to grow we'll add to the moderating team and when the time comes anannouncementwill be made.

A role as a moderator is to ensure the forum works for all members and each member abides by our simple set of guidelines. Sometimes posts will be moved, topics will be locked, and posts will be edited so that clicky links work. Sometimes people will not like this but we aim to send a PM to any member who has had their post removed or hidden to explain the reasons behind it.

If they ask you to do something, please do it.The Moderators do not do things because they are bored. So rest easy knowing that if a topic has been locked or a post moved it has been done for a reason.

Reporting a Post:
We are on and off the forum all the time but we do have full time jobs. If you see something out of place or unsuitable for the forum please use the 'Report Post' function. This will bring the post to our attention as soon as we're back online:

Click 'Post Options' and then 'Report Post'.

Thanks & Feedback
