Over here in Canada just about everything runs on 2.4 ghz and it causes havoc with the wireless reversing camera systems. The receiver turns on the monitor for an instant before it recognizes it is a wrong signal and it causes the display to flash. In the daylight it is not too bad but at night it is very distracting. The solution is to run a line from the backup light (+) to the power input of the monitor.Although it is interesting to sit in a parking lot and see how many other cars activate your monitor. My wife didn't like it when she looked out back before putting the car in R , there was nothing there but the camera showed a car almost at her bumper.

One of the joys of a wireless systems I much prefer to run screened cables so not to get/give any interference from/ to any other equipment
