I've a Vauxhall Antara 2.2cdti 163, FWD, with the cd30mp3. I'm looking to change the system, was looking to seewhat people would recommend or have already changed too.

Looking for a system with Satnav and Bluetooth that will slide into existing opening left by the cd30.

Went to my local Vauxhall dealer just now, and they refused point blankly to sell me a replacement, their loss now.

All suggestions welcome. Willing to spend about 400 all in.

I am thinking of doing the same with my Antara. Wrote to VX to check if changing the stereo would affect the Lifetime warranty and here is what they said: "Regarding the change of the infotainment system to an aftermarket product, we would not provide a warranty for this. It would only affect the Lifetime Warranty on your vehicle in the event the change causes a fault with another component on your vehicle".

I am just afraid that if anything goes wrong with the Car, they will find a way to point the source of the problem caused to the new stereo!

I changed mine to a Pioneer App Radio, it has Blue Tooth connection, you can stream music from your phone and then if you connect your phone with a cable you can use the touch screen of the Stereo as you would your phone, can use sat nav apps, search the internet etc.
Admittedly it's only good if you have a smart phone, iphone in my case.

Hi all,

May be being a bit thick here...

Ok, probably being a bit thick, but I have a related question if I may...

I have just got my bus, and I guess like everyone, I want a bluetooth radio, so I can use hands free.

Currently got an FM thing in the lighter socket, but if I close the cup holders, no one can hear me.

The obvious answer is to change the radio. But the BC and OK buttons are part of the radio.. I think, so what happens when I change the radio?
