Hi you want to keep it above 2000 rpm, so can do at slower speed in a lower gear. An average time seems to be 15 minutes dependant on temp as well. Normally each DPF regen is around the 500 mile mark. I have had one take about 6 minutes and another take closer to 30.Edited by: HoneyMonster

Can someone tell me if a light comes on on the
Dash board when a Regen takes place?
I think that mine has just done one but only signs were
The mpg dropped from 32ish to 26ish mpg and the fan
Was blowing when I came to turn off engine ???
Is this a Regen ? Passive Regen? Or just coincidence ??

Sounds like a regen that you interrupted, chances are you will get another attempt on your next run, plenty of info on DPF's on the forum, will keep you busy for hours reading it all.

I took it for a good blow out run straight after I herd the fan
Reset the mpg meter a few times after about 10 mins
It started creeping back up in the 30's as normal
But my question was does it have a light for Regen ?

No Shaun no light for a regen in action but there is one comes on if to many regens are interupted and then you must complete the regen cycle.
