If you can not find it .it says
APPLY FOOTBRAKE
The symbol illustrates yellow
Brake pedal needs to be depressed to
Release the electrical parking brake -p136

Clutch pedal needs to be depressed
To restart the engine

Stop start system - p124

Well it is my book page 89
Hope this saves you looking

In the case of automatic transmission (which the OP has) it's a reminder that you have to press the footbrake (and have the ignition turned on) before you will be able to move the selector out of Park.

Thanks

It does not appear on page 89 or 136 in my manual. I assumed this was just a reminder but would have been nice if VX told us this was the case. THANKS TO ALL

If this is what you are asking about then it's a reminder to put your foot on the brake before releasing hand brake or moving gear selector out of park Edited by: Bigjohnsparky
