Tried all the usual types of fuel and went down the additive route.Just use supermarket fuel now and makes absolutely no difference whatsoever.
Regens approx every 500/600 miles and averages 43mpg

Regens are programmed in for every approx 500 miles, nothing to do with fuel or additives. Only if they are more often than this will cleaner burning make a difference.

Poor fuel quality can build more sooth in dpf, then pressure will be higher and regens come more often.

I second Millers fuel treatment. I think it works really well.

All diesel fuel conforms to EN590All i would say is; if it works for you, do it.
Like you say Stevan You get a regen at 500 miles (ish) whether you need it or not

Point I was trying to make (obviously quite badly) is that there is no bad fuel around anymore and the difference between the large name refiners and others is negligable. Most supermarket fuels are bought on the wholesale market mainly in Rotterdam and a lot of it comes from the Pernis refinery.
This plant being owned and run by Shell and is, far as I am aware they make no differentiation between what goes into their own pumps and anyone else's.

I am filling up fuel on tesco(where we shopping every friday)or texaco because it is on my way to work, and I can't find any difference. Also sometimes I am using bp fuel.I found only asda fuel in worst quality, fill up there few times and distance done on one tank was 30-40 miles shorter.Anyway still adding 50ml of millers every few tanks ,and wynns dpf cleaner every 10 tanks. We using antara mostly in town ,on short journeys and dpf cleans every 500 miles.
