Hi

Just picked up my Antara, want to get a service (last one at 28k 14 months ago, now 41k) and been a bit horrified by the quotes from Vauxhall, now I now I'm just west of London but £553 is the best for a full service, used to drive a Jag and it was only £350!

half of this is labour charge of £99p/h +VAT and 2.5hrs surely this is a little bit mental

Anyonegettinga similar price or am I being ripped off? Really want to use VXfor thefirst service since I purchased it so I can get them to ensureeveryoneis up to standard (double check what thegaragesold it to me)

cheers for your help

Phone round, haggle. I purchased my own engine oil (dexos 2) and they took £60 off the bill.

Definitely shop around VX dealers in the area, it's surprising how different they can be..... welcome on board.... got any pics of your new motor?

thanks for the steer, managed to get a much better deal after 5 different dealers, first 4 all giving the same £550 answer and not willing to negotiate, but finally the 5th was good enough to give a sensible price!
