A-sure Sat Nav. I replaced the CD30 on the Antara with this. Great bit of kit, never let me down and comes with all leads and remote control. Hands free, Ipod connectivity, Bluetooth, mp3, usb, movies etc and will take a reverse camera. This one has digital TV as well, great fro watching telly while you wait on the wife shopping !! I removed it today and refitted the CD30, now the Antara dashboard looks really dated,it looks similar to the 1 in the link but in grey not silver.

£100 plus postage.

Hi, Interested in the Sat Nav, is it a straight forward plug & play for a SE model without the Nav i.e. are there any mods required or additional aerials for the GPS?

Cheers

Hi Vulcan, nothing extra to purchase. comes with all leads including gps receiver, tv aerial and microphone. No mods needed. Its plug and play really, a multi-plug and another lead for the steering wheel controls. Sat nav is hard drive based so a lot quicker than a cd/dvd based one. The maps are stored on a micro sd card and were updated for free last year. It can read various map formats when set up including garmin etc but I have just used the ones that it came with.

I had the GPS receiver down behind the centre console and worked perfectly. In the drivers foot well you will see a panel you can remove at the side of the centre console, There is a metal frame there, the receiver has a magnetic base to I attached it to the frame. The tv aerial I stored it in the net at the passenger foot well then placed it on the roof when in use as its a magnetic base.It will also take a Wi-Fi dongle if you want Wi-Fi to the unit. And its full of games !!
