I have an A-Sure Head Unit for sale.

It has built in Sat-Nav, DVD, CD player functionalities, iPod connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, has all the relevant leads with it, Canbus compatible and can be linked up to a reversing camera. Has many other functions as well.

It is in good condition and is grey in colour. It has come out of my old Antara SE, which I have now sold.

I originally bought it for 225 approx, its now going at a bargain price of 100 or very nearest offer.

It is a popular replacement ICE unit for Antara's and has served me well on journeys abroad and in the UK.

Get your self a bargain and treat yourself.Edited by: chingster294

Didn't I see a review of these at some point? something like..... Great head unit I picked up off Ebay but the time defaults to the Chinese clock time and only after 5 mins of driving does it change to the correct local time. The GPS no longer works and when it did work, you could only play the radio without presets, only the scan function.

The Bluetooth phone volume is super low so to hear it you have to have the volume really high. Even setting it louder on my phone didn't help, then once your finished the call the music kicks in and deafens you,

The radio signal seems to be weaker than the stock unit. the shuffle is not shuffle, it plays the first song, the last song the middle song and so on, its so predictable that on shuffle i already know what's coming up next, so now i only use it for radio and reverse camera and some other small details, These are not defects but bad operating system programming

Hi Victor, thank for your taking the time to reply and provide a detailed summary of issues that may have been experienced by Antara owners. However, I can say that I have had no issues relating to anything you have highlighted. Yes I did have a signal issue, but was resolved when I bought an amplified aerial and cured the problem and will be included with it. The unit has been very reliable and I have not been disappointed. The only reason I am asking for sensible offers is that I no longer have an Antara and the unit is taking up space in my garage.

Thank you again for your honest and detailed summary, but you also find positive reviews on the forum also.

OK glad to get that addressed and that yours doesn't suffer from any of these symptoms. As it stands, I don't think I'd go for SatNav on mine as the screen would be too low. Good luck though, hope you get someone interested, there's always someone looking to upgrade their head unit..
