This may sound like an odd thread, but I've just had an insurance policy mature and I have £5k to spend and am struggling to find something to spend it on.
I don't like having too much savings in the bank. This due to the fact that my health is not the best and I don't really want tobe leaving money to my relatives after I've popped my clogs. I'd rather spend it while I'm alive.
I don't have an extravagant lifestyle. Don't smoke or drink and haven't been on a proper holiday for at least 20 years.( Holidays are not my thing). I already have several cameras and computers and only recently bought a new TV. My kitchen appliances don't need changing either. I don't wear jewellery and already have a good quality watch.
I like all the furniture I have at the moment and can't see any reason to replace any of it. I'm having my living room divided into two rooms later this year, but that is already budgeted for.
I have been thinking about getting a top of the range fish tank plus all the accessories, but I've not totally made my mind up on that yet. Not sure I can cope with all the work to maintain a large tank.
So. my friends, the question is, what ideas do you have for the man who appears to have everything he needson how to spend £5K. All ideas , wacky or otherwise, are welcome.
Keep it clean.
