I've been looking at the SsangYong website. The 2016 Rexton R has 178bhp, 400nm torque, a proper chassis, high spec.,selective low range and a 5 year warranty. Anyone driven one?

I was looking at the Rexton R and it looks really good. The tow car awards seem to like the car too.

I have a mate that had one and broke down in France and could find a dealer so had tomhave the car brought back to UK

One of the blokes at work had a rexton and swore by it, until the warranty expired and it failed the mot, he needed 2 track rod ends, I scoured the Internet for a week and eventually found him 2, he ordered them and got here and was wrong, dealers were saying it was going to be 6 weeks as on back order, ended up at a little place in middle of no where!!! He sold car and never looked back.Edited by: Andrewberry

Well I don't think it looks ugly ,quite the opposite in fact , haven't driven one but sat in one at the Caravan Show three years or so ago & really liked it . You do get a lot of car for the money. Spares do seem to be problematic .
