What a dream I had last night, can't get it out my head, this is the dream
I was dreaming I was driving down this road hubbie my baby girl who's 17 and her big bro who's 31 not forgetting angelz the Rottie in the boot were all in the car, the car started to do a regeneration but it started to excelerate and I could not stop it, it was getting faster Hubbie was shouting at me take your foot off the pedal, I said it was not on the pedal, crying by that time kids screaming in the back because there was a bloody big tipper truck reversing our way, I woke up crying, just shows you when something plays on your mind.
Hubbie wondered what was wrong thought I was in a lot of pain again but when I told him he was not amused.

DPF NightmareMy Antara started doing regens every 150 miles booked it in to arnold clark Glenrothes . they said they have no idea why it would do this and have not heard of this before they pluged it in to there diagnostic machine the mechanic said the car has no faults he did a forced regen as the D.P.F Filter was 79% blocked and hopefully that should cure it . Another 150 miles and another regen i read on the forum that a lot of people on here are having the same trouble as me why would the car do this and has anyone found out why this is happening and how to fix this as the dealer has no idea ( could it be the sensor that tells the percentage the D.P.F filter is blocked ? )

I had similar issues with a regen happening every 100 miles roughly. On one occasion a regen completed and a new regen started when I next used the car.

I drove for 12 miles on the motorway and kept the revs at 3000 in the hope it would force a complete regen and so far it seems to have worked.

Mine has just done two in 70 miles. Not sure the first of the two completed so going to wait and see. Previously doing around 500 miles between regens.

I used to ignore background regens, just wait for light to come on then do a run down m42. Last month or 2 I have tried to wait for background regens to finish but give up and will go back to waiting for light to come on.
