I havent really towed "in anger" yet, only from storage to sevice center & return.

Hopefully at the weekend, i will get a real feel for how "this baby" tows.I'm sure "the wife" will fill every cupboard, draw, nook & cranny with stuff that she cant do without

While i'll ONLY be taking a mountain bike, kayak and about 100kgs of diving equipment alonglets see how the self leveling suspension handles that little lot

Not sure what that'll do to the mpg....but got to be better than my previous outfit:

Terracan 2.9TDCI & Sterling Elite Searcher

Very nice guys
I have never owned a towing caravan but after seeing all your wonderful photographs, it now has me thinking.

As a complete and utter amateur, can I ask a question which to you professional caravaners may seem ridiculous but is there a specific reason why all caravans are predominantly "white" coloured ?

I only ask because a colour coordinated caravan and Antara would look the business in my humble opinion

Yes, I'm on VXON, but hopefully this site will build up with good chat on it.

[QUOTE=Antarius] is there a specific reason why all caravans are predominantly "white" coloured [QUOTE]

John,

This very question was asked on a few of the caravan forums last year.
The answer was simply down to the cost of paint.
The other argument was that white reflects heat, a valid point when caravanning in the UK !!!

Other colours are available on certain makes, but as you say predominantly white.
