Got to say the Antara is a very understated 4x4. Well worth the money.

I had exactly the same problem; the car had the previous owner's phonebook on it (which proved it had worked). I deleted that OK but my Samsung S3 mini wouldn't load the phonebook after many hours of trying and in spite of advice from other forum members. My VX dealer - at service time - loaded his phonebook as a test first time. I tried again for an hour or so at home and suddenly it worked, but I think I changed the sequence in the procedure. If I can recall it I will post it. Yes, there is a list of phones (on the internet) which seemed to cover just about everything at that time. However, you might have a new all-singing-and-dancing phone whereas your Antara's technology is over four years old. Try and try again.

If you search the forum under 'Phonebook' you will find a series of exchanges on this, dated May/June 2016. This was my last post on it:

Well, following Ordav's comment I gave it another go. It worked. I
cleared all Bluetooth references between the phone and car and started
afresh. Different messages came up (that I hadn't seen before),
including connecting to a Google app which I ignored because they want
to know everything about everything in your life. After perhaps twenty
minutes it was all done - only part of my contacts list to start - but
then the full list after toggling between 'SIM' and 'Phone' on the car's
set up screen. Thank you to everyone who showed an interest.
