Might be a faulty motion sensor or even a insect in car setting it off, try disabling the interior sensors. Another possibility is a faulty door/bonnet/boot sensor.

Disable interior sensor as andel said, if that doesnt work undo the sensor under the seat, at least then you will have narroed it down a bit, I would hazard a guess at the motion sensor under your seat is playing up...

BTW I think it will lock itself if left unlocked... Most cars do that these days.

The alarmis a bit tricky dicky on the Antara, I had trouble with mines once when I accidentally dislodged the bonnet microswitch and the thing started beeping through the night.

Didn't know that some modern cars will self-lock after a while. What next, will they go down to the filling station and blow up their tyres if we ignore the TPMS warning?

Could be a battery in its way out.I had a Volvo and the alarm triggered on its own. Sometimes wouldn't lock etc.A new car battery and everything was fine.Edited by: Paul&ange
