Just had a disappointing experience with my main dealer. My Antara was 3 years old on 30/12/2017 and on 20/1/2018 a water leak appeared on the offside front A pillar which has stained the fabric covering.I purchased this vehicle mainly because of the lifetime warranty, when I booked it in to be rectified I told the dealer that I thought the windscreen seal had broken down.when I went to collect it they informed me that after investigation they think the seal has broken down but this not covered under the warranty.Vauxhall customer care tell me it is wear and tear and not covered under the lifetime warranty. To top it all they presented me with a bill for £72 for the privilege of being told what I already knew.

How can the seal fail under ware and tear it's not a moving part ?
I would go direct to VX customer services explaining what has happened and who you have been treated by the dealer and ask CS to sort this matter with windscreen reseal and replacement post trim plus arrange a full refund of your hard earned £72.00

If you don't get any joy then try removing staining with wet baby wipes good luck
