Just a little extra bit of chrome trim around rear reflectors got the idea from another thread on the forum
Got them online from

https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/400411485879

Then cut them down to fit

Then fit them

I think they look quite neat Edited by: Bigjohnsparky

They look great!

Ive been searching for chrome in that circumference for ages but gave up in the end not wanting to spend on stuff that arrived and wouldnt fit.

Are they easy to cut down....plastic inner Im guessing? EBay?

Yes from eBay at 4x4 styling £24.99 free postage
All plastic I cut them down with a dremel hardest thing was marking out befor cutting. Measure twice cut once then slight trimHeld in place with sticky pads provided and 4 x small stainless steel screws as needs a very slight bend to fit tight to bumper shape which fit in the dimples.
All in all took about 1hr start to finish

Thank Jase

Because the reversing light is crap on the Antara I was always going to mod the reflectors and put a single led bulb in the center and wire it to the reversing lights.

I even bought the bulbs from ebay but never fitted them.

Annoying that there are loads of circular led rings which i wanted to fit around the reflector but they were either to big or small so i opted for a single led in the middle.

would have been a simple fit just frill a hole in the center and wire up.

Looks good John

So this is the latest bling to be fitted to the Reggies2 mobile then BJS. Must say it looks good, you've done a cracking job. Don't think I'll get them though, marking off and cutting to compound trim lines was never my forte, I'd end up filling mine with as much silicone sealant as the window fitters did at my last house ie A LOT. Maybe you could buy a bulk load, trim them up and sell 'em on here to members ready to fit kit at a knock down price

re the reverse lights every car already has them they're called brake lights or, if you're into strobes, the hazard warning lights.

Just went and had a look at Ebay, they're advertised for the front fog lights (or driving lights). So are these the same size for the rear reflectors?

Thanks Victor

I would not have time to start doing that

Yes size is as close as Damit the front fog light covers for the captiva 2007 to 2011 the link i put are the ones I cut down and fitted. They are the cheapest I've seen Edited by: Bigjohnsparky

Looking good BJS, What do you clean or prep your bumpers with. My bumpers are going a little "light" in colour?Edited by: chrisg

My wife says that I never listen or something like that !
