I found a 20 pack of cigarettes on the pavement the other day with 12 still left in it. Somebody must have decided they'd stop the hard way. Can't believe how small these cigs are, they're Sterling King Size and they're just over 3" long but the filter is nearlyy 1" so the actual '***' bit is only just over 2" - and these are King Size?

I smoked for over 30 years started when I was 13 but stopped more than 10 years ago. Must confess since I found these I'm tempted to light one up just to see. I really enjoyed smoking, especially when I was having a drink, but as I got older it was having more of an effect on me. What with that and the Gov't health warnings I finaly gave up. But I can't help wondering if I go out to my garage, crack open a can of beer and light up........ will it be like old times?

Don't do it Victor, I smoked for 44 years gave up 3 years ago with the help of Vaping, had to give up due to health, now I have self inflicted COPD with less than 40% lung capacity which reduces every year. But my fault no one else's and thankfully off them now. I did a while back have a crafty puff, just to see what its like. Hot, choking, foul smelling and generally unpleasant... Nothing missed there

You're right in everything you say Volrider but I suppose it's just the old rebellious me.Ther's so much hoo ha these days about what you can do and what you can't do and although as an ex-smoker I notice it on smokers, their hair and their clothes, I don't like the smell but I still wouldn't deny them the right to do it if they wanted to. Smokers are being turned into absolute pariahs these days but they're just spending £2 millkon pounds a year providing a clinically clean facility in Glasgow for drug users to shoot up in safety. WHY?

Up here they also want minimum pricing on alcohol and a tax on sugary drinks. FFS, whatever happened to democracy and freedom of choice. If it's not on teh "approved" list then you can't do it. Bah humbug.
