I had a similar issue getting my phone paired to the car. The code you need is 0000 to pair. Edited by: volrider

dont know if this will help but the code to pair with my car is 1234. maybe they all have different codes ??. the reason it is saying wrong code before you get to enter the code must be that the first number is wrong

If you search the forum under 'Phonebook' you will find a series of exchanges on this, dated May/June 2016. This was my last post on it:

Well, following Ordav's comment I gave it another go. It worked. I
cleared all Bluetooth references between the phone and car and started
afresh. Different messages came up (that I hadn't seen before),
including connecting to a Google app which I ignored because they want
to know everything about everything in your life. After perhaps twenty
minutes it was all done - only part of my contacts list to start - but
then the full list after toggling between 'SIM' and 'Phone' on the car's
set up screen. Thank you to everyone who showed an interest.

I had the same issue. I can connect a HTC phone and Samsung but can't connect a moto G2. The code is 1234 but the phone auto puts in 0000 there says wrong code.

That's strange. G1 will but I can't get a G2 or G3 to pair. Technology I hate it.
