Yep, lots of problems. Drives me insane. In the case of my car would seem to be a feature of the car.

To be more specific, i get a shudder at 2000rpm, I understand its common on 2.2 Antaras. Mines a manual I presume Auto's don't have the same issue.

The shudder/vibration I think is there in all gears but only really noticeable between 4-6 gears. It also only happens under heavy acceleration. I have checked the prop shaft, seems fine. It get no noise from the transfer, gear box or back axle. The rear axle clutch seems to work fine, towing a caravan across a water logged field has proved that. If I take my foot off the gas the vibration just stops.

Interestingly the 2.2 diesel produces its maximum torque at 2000rpm. If I lift off the throttle or just accelerate lightly no vibration. I think its just a feature of the car.

If your car does this all the time I suggest you check your fluid levels in the gearbox, transfer box and back axle. I understand lack of lubrication is the primary cause of gearbox, transfer box and back axle failures.
